Your time at a Mindfulness Meditation will begin with some gentle stretching and breath awareness. We will then move into a comfortably position of either sitting or lying down, letting the eyes remain open or closed. The Facilitator will then guide you through a meditation, incorporating basic meditation practice (e.g., calming the body, becoming aware of your thoughts), mindfulness concepts (e.g., acceptance, loving kindness), and periods of silence. We will end with a short reading and discussion about the Meditation experience, including any challenges experienced and question and answer.
